Friday I’m in Love #1

It’s the end of the week for most people (weekends can be very busy in the events industry) and it’s been a great one for inspiration. In light of this I’m launching this new feature today which, with true 90’s inspiration, is titled ‘Friday I’m in Love’. My plan for this feature is to give you a bi-weekly peek at what I’m currently loving in the realms of all things wedding, event, styling and lifestyle. So let’s get down to business.

The Inspiration

This week bright colours have been featuring highly on my radar and with Cinco de Mayo last Tuesday I’ve seen some pretty awesome inspiration but this is totally my favourite. I love this Cinco de Mayo inspired shoot from one of my favourite inspiration planning teams at Beijos Events, who are based out in California. It’s a great example of an unapologetic use of fun, bold colours.

The Story

Now I LOVE to travel, wanderlust is in my soul but these guys take it to another level. I love the way Samuel and Hildegunn document their journey, not only through various landscapes but their life as a couple together in the most extraordinary way. Time to dust off that camera, set off on a journey and start taking some beautifully composed photographs!

Talk the Talk

Expert advice from the fabulous Rock n Roll Bride on how to write your own vows caught my eye this week. A simple step-by-step prompt is all it needs to make your special moment even more poignant and perfect for you.

Walk the Walk

The moment everybody thinks about before planning their big day is the often short walk down the aisle. Defining your aisle-style can be such an important part of the planning process. Over on Style Me Pretty there’s some great inspiration to get your creativity going!

Those are my top stories this week but I can’t wait to see you next time.
